Wood Briquettes

Product: Wood Briquettes
Type: Compressed Biomass Fuel
Material: 100% Natural Wood Residues
Application: Residential Heating, Industrial Boilers, Fireplaces, Biomass Energy

Wood briquettes are a high-density biomass fuel produced by compressing natural wood residues such as sawdust, wood chips, and wood shavings under high pressure. No chemical additives or binding agents are used during the production process. The natural lignin present in the wood acts as a binder, forming solid briquettes with excellent burning properties.

Because of their high density and low moisture content, wood briquettes produce long-lasting heat, minimal smoke, and low ash levels, making them an efficient and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional firewood.

Wood briquettes are widely used in fireplaces, wood stoves, industrial boilers, pizza ovens, bakeries, and biomass heating systems.

Key Advantages

High heat output and long burning time

Low moisture content for efficient combustion

Minimal ash production and cleaner burning

Easy storage and handling

Environmentally friendly renewable biomass fuel

Consistent size and quality compared to traditional firewood

Types of Wood Briquettes

RUF Briquettes

RUF briquettes are rectangular compressed wood blocks produced using hydraulic presses. They are one of the most common briquette types used for domestic heating.

RUF briquettes are compact, easy to stack, and provide stable combustion with a long burning time. They are widely used in fireplaces, wood stoves, and household heating systems.

Typical characteristics include high density, low moisture content, and consistent dimensions for efficient storage and transport.

Pini Kay Briquettes

Pini Kay briquettes are hexagonal briquettes with a central hole, produced using extrusion technology under high pressure and temperature.

The central hole improves airflow during combustion, resulting in more efficient burning and higher heat output. The outer surface is slightly carbonized during production, which improves durability and moisture resistance.

Pini Kay briquettes are commonly used in fireplaces, industrial heating systems, restaurants, and grilling applications.

Cylindrical (Round) Briquettes

Cylindrical briquettes are round compressed briquettes made from natural wood sawdust. These briquettes are produced using mechanical presses and provide excellent burning stability and consistent heat output.

They are often used in industrial boilers, biomass heating plants, and residential heating systems where uniform fuel size is required.

Product Specifications

Wood briquettes are produced under strict quality standards to ensure consistent performance and efficient combustion.

The briquettes are manufactured with moisture content typically below 10%, which allows efficient burning and higher energy output. Ash content normally remains below 1%, resulting in minimal residue after combustion.

Wood briquettes provide a calorific value of approximately 4.5 to 5.2 kWh per kilogram, delivering strong and stable heat output. The density of briquettes is significantly higher than traditional firewood, allowing longer burning time and improved fuel efficiency.

All briquettes are produced from 100% natural wood materials without chemical additives, making them a clean and environmentally friendly biomass fuel.

Packaging Options

Wood briquettes are typically packed in consumer-friendly and transport-efficient formats.

The most common packaging format is 10 kg or 12 kg shrink-wrapped packs, which are convenient for household storage and handling. These packs are stacked on pallets and wrapped for safe transport.

Briquettes can also be supplied in 15 kg bags or cartons, depending on customer requirements and distribution channels.

For wholesale and industrial customers, briquettes may also be supplied in large bulk bags or palletized packaging for efficient transport and storage.

Pallets are securely wrapped to protect the product during transportation and warehouse handling.

Applications

Wood briquettes are suitable for a wide range of heating and energy applications.

Residential heating systems

Fireplaces and wood stoves

Pizza ovens and bakeries

Industrial biomass boilers

Restaurants and grilling operations

Agricultural heating systems

Their high energy density and consistent shape make briquettes easy to store, transport, and use compared to traditional firewood.

Storage Instructions

Store briquettes in a dry and well-ventilated area

Protect briquettes from moisture and rain

Keep briquettes off the ground using pallets or racks

Avoid storing briquettes in high humidity environments

Proper storage helps maintain briquette structure and burning performance.

Safety Information

Wood briquettes are non-toxic and environmentally safe

Avoid excessive dust inhalation during handling

Store away from open flames before use

Use proper ventilation when burning briquettes

Keep packaging away from moisture or water exposure

Sustainable Energy Solution

Wood briquettes are produced from recycled wood residues, helping reduce waste from the wood processing industry. As a renewable biomass fuel, briquettes contribute to lower carbon emissions and sustainable energy production.

Their high efficiency and clean combustion make them a reliable and environmentally responsible alternative to coal and traditional firewood.
